I second the need for a review of A Prophet. I saw it a couple months ago and it is quickly rising on my list of my favorite movies. I think that it, along with Synecdoche,New York and The Puffy Chair form the top 3 of the decade. I'm also wondering why in every single historical epic-type movie, every single person has a British accent. I also want to know what you two think about the trailer for Justified, the upcoming show with Timothy Olyphant.

P.S. Aaron, when you go to Ireland, try to see if you can find a dvd copy of Johnny Mad Dog which got a little bit of hype on Total Film for being the next City of God. It doesn't nearly compare, but I still really liked it and it made my top 20 for 2009. I really hope that it gets a U.S. release in the next couple years.

I hated Cop Out but my audience loved it. I couldn't wait for it to end. I didn't laugh once. I've never been a Tracy Morgan fan and now I'm beginning to hate him.

The Crazies was time well spent. I haven't seen the original but I plan to. I've had a crush on Olyphant since Scream 2.

Hey guys. Great show. Actually for Aaron, I was looking and saw that GREENBERG comes out the 19th, which is when you said you were out of town. Also, off to see ALICE today and cannot wait for Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin on the Oscars. I love the two of them and they'll make great hosts. Good show guys!

Prince of Persia looks better than Clash of the Titans? They both don't look good, but Clash definitely has a more exciting trailer. That voiceover on the Persia trailer is awful.

As a response to Aaron's 300th episode comment, I'll admit it wasn't that funny, but you made it sound so much more bitter. It was a joke, I love Pulp Fiction as it clearly states in the comment. And I've commented on iTunes.

Hey guys. Awesome podcast. Some few comments:

You mentioned 2 actors I absolutely hate. Tracy Morgan and Maggie Gyllenhal. I think Tracy has been typecast into the idiot role in 30 rock, while Maggie is always out of place in every single movie. A lot of people complained about batman's voice in Dark Night. My nitpick was Maggie Gyllenhall. She felt really out of place and I think Nolan killed her early on in the movie intentionally. They should both pack their bags and switch careers.

I think you guys are ignoring precious for some of the oscar wins. I think Giboure should win best actress. And I also have a feeling Precious might have a chance winning the best picture this year or maybe best director. Having finally seen Precious I disagree with your review on Precious a while ago. I thought it was an uplifting film and is kind of the Slumdog millionaire of this year.
If James Cameron wins anything other than special effects I am going to spit on the TV screen. He is the director of the 4 most overrated movies of all time just because of his groundbreaking special effect and therefore he shouldn't win anything else for his movies.
My final nitpick is LOST. You are thinking about the show solely in terms of the viewer's perspective. When the creators created the show they didn't know if their show would go for even a second season. During the second season JJ stepped away from the show and Damon and Carlton took over. Then the show was successful and they didn't know how many seasons of Lost are left. And then you had actors getting arrested for drunk driving and actors who wanted to leave the show. So obviously that screws around with the writers. But the main concept of what the island is I think reamined the same and the concept of the show which is about a bunch of characters on an island that raises more questions than answers remains the same in the sixth season. And here is a proof that THE FIRST FEW SEASONS ARE NOT VOID!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXTz9q7xM9Q

Hey guys, Great Podcast. Loved the Q and A, and of course Im still listening. You guys can do no wrong.
I have one question for Aaron (maybe you can answer it on the next Q and A). You said that you were once upon a time not very interested in movies, so what movies made you get obsessed with film.
