It's not complicated. Nit Picket Podcast #51.

It was one year ago today when the very first episode of the Nit Picket Podcast was released.  Plenty has changed since that first episode but Aaron and I celebrate such an occasion by doing exactly what we always do: discuss movies and television.  This week we discuss Leap Year, It's Complicated, Goodbye Solo, Moon and the new Michael Cera comedy, Youth in Revolt.  We also count down our top 5 favorite television shows of 2009.  In the world of trailers we discuss Terribly Happy and Grown Ups.  Peggy's real name is Elisabeth Moss.  Why can't I remember that?

Hey, nice reviews of Goodbye Solo and Moon

Haven't seen Youth in Revolt yet, but I'm a Michael Cera fan, have been since AD.

Have you folks gotten a chance to see The Messenger yet? Fantastic film.

I loved Moon as well, but the trailer was very misleading. Awesome, but misleading. The book is one of my personal favorites, and I think MTV wanted to make it a mini-series, which probably would have worked better, but there are some things in the book that they wouldn't have been able to do, that are essential in the story. Anyway, I think Cera was miscast and I think the complaints about him playing the same character aren't really complaints as much as thinking that he has potential to play different characters, like an Adam Sandler kind of thing.
