Thanks for the b-day wishes!!! And I think both of us have seen that film...we may have even talked about it on an earlier episode but I can't remember. I definitely reviewed it on my YouTube channel though if you care to check it out! http://youtube.com/durden85

there's just so many episodes man. now I'm definitely excited to see that movie though. I think the last film I noticed Michael Rapaport in was Assassination of A High School President, which I disliked immensely. Though it might be attributed to the fact that the entire time I was thinking about how awesome Brick was.

    Nice Review, guys!

Loved Nicolas Cage's performance in "The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call - New Orleans".

Highly recommend the Australian animation "Mary and Max" ( http://www.maryandmax.com/) and the Swedish drama "Everlasting Moments" (http://www.ifcfilms.com/films/everlasting-moments).

Great episode as always! I'm really glad that Leland mentioned The Up Series. It's one of my favorite documentaries for sure. Incredible stuff.
I saw Fantastic Mr. Fox and enjoyed quite a bit. I've yet to see Bad Lieutenantort of Call New Orleans.
As far as lists go I would recommend favorite movie intros and/or favorite movie endings. That may be a bad recommendation though since it would be spoiler heavy.

Yeah, DARK CITY is pretty fantastic. I just picked it up during a Black Friday deal for like 8 bucks on Bluray.

Oh, we're really going for it. TO THE MOON!

      Thanks for listening.

Holy crap, i'm jealous! That movie sounds amazing in Blu-ray. Would you like to trade for the .mp4 I have on my iPod?

And you hit the nail on the head. The Matrix needs to give a lot of credit to DC.

Hey there, Leland and Aaron. I'm still listening to every episode, even though my schedule has been incredibly busy--busy getting married, that is. But I always have time for you, Leland. Always.

    Happy belated birthday, Aaron.

I just wanted to say that you had some great picks for Netflix watch instantly.
Crumb is easily one of my favorite documentaries of all time. My number one, though, is God Grew Tires of Us (2006). If you haven't seen it, I implore you to check it out.

Also: Barton Fink is my favorite Coen film. It's superb. I also loved watching Fantastic Mr. Fox--it was a great experience, and I enjoyed listening to your insight on the film.

Keep up the great work. I look forward to your show every week.

Congratulations, Vulpix! As long as you keep Aaron and I on the side we couldn't be happier for you.

I haven't seen GOD GREW TIRED OF US but it's now on my queue and I'm eager to check it out.

I can't thank you enough for listening and supporting everything I've done over the last year. It means the world. Thanks!

I absolutely adored FANTASTIC MR.FOX! I had a smile throughout the entire film. I actually can't say I had a problem with the film at all. Even the cussin didn't bother me for some reason and the clustercuss line definitely threw me for a loop. Honestly, this and UP are the only films that I have seen this year that I haven't had any problems with, even tiny ones. Although I do think UP is better because of it's perfect score, beautifully told story, and it's surprisingly mature underlining themes. Anyways MR.FOX was, dare I say, fantastic!

Oh, and I watched NOT QUITE HOLLYWOOD the other day. It's probably one of the most entertaing and fascinating documentaries that I have seen in quite some time. Thanks for mentioning it Leland. CRUMB, TREELESS MOUNTAIN, and the 7 UP series are in my queue. I've already seen BARTON FINK twice and I love it.

I'm right there with you about UP and FANTASTIC MR. FOX. And you're right about the score to UP. One of my recent favorites. Great flicks. However, I might put THIRST on my list of films I had almost no problems with.

      Thanks for listening!

I've got both THIRST and THE ROOM on DVD from Netflix at my house and I still haven't seen either. Hopefully I will see them this weekend. I can't believe that I forgot but I would also put A SERIOUS MAN on that list of near perfect films.
