Reality is arbitrary.  Nit Picket Podcast #43.

This week Aaron and I tear planet Earth a new asshole as we discuss the new Roland Emmerich disaster epic, 2012.  We also rock out with our cocks out in the new film, Pirate Radio, the newest from British rom/com legend Richard Curtis.  We both wonder about Jim Jarmusch's, The Limits of Control, Aaron gushes over the cult classic, The Room, and I (Leland) gush over the new mumblecore flick, Humpday.  How could I possibly make it through our review of Pirate Radio without mentioning Bill Nighy?!

Sooper dooper podcast guys and always never missing a beat.
2012 was ok, i agree that once it got to the tsunami bit I was done and had no more interest with how it ended. The Russian guy falling to his death was harsh and I have to admit when the plane was hanging over the edge I may have shouted out “ang on lads, I got a great idea….” But what I thought was even worse than that was when the step dad got killed off and at the end their all one big happy family that no longer piss the bed. And Africa was only a safe haven because there is no national landmarks to destroy.
PIRATE RADIO or indeed THE BOAT THAT ROCKED was awesooome, I too loved every second of it – with a cast like that you can’t go wrong. Shame it only reached number 12 in the US.
THE LIMITS OF CONTROL, I don’t think I will ever check out because for the rest of my life I’m washing my hair.
HUMPDAY I will see as soon as I can, I haven’t seen THE PUFFY CHAIR yet, but I have seen BAGHEAD and loved it, so I’m sure I’ll enjoy their new movie.
Recently saw the trailer for THE ROOM and I’m still laughing over it, can’t wait to get my hands on that polished terd.

    Until we meet again.

To be totally honest, I completely forgot that he was killed off in the movie. There's barely a second of mourning.

      Thanks for listening.

Doesn't Tommy Wiseau look like a character Christopher Walken would play in SNL?
