5 word reviews seems like a pretty good idea. I think you should add them to 'yalls' youtube stuff.

Modern people don't like "classic" films because the subject matter isn't relatable to them. I agree somewhat, because I still don't like Scarface, and I don't think The Godfather (1/2) are "The standard for good film making". I appreciate all these movies, do NOT get me wrong, I just don't enjoy watching them like I do similar movies made in the here and now. I enjoy the movie Casino more than I enjoy Citizen Kane. Does that make me stupid? Granted I'm not the idiot accusing people of not knowing what they're talking about when they praise Citizen or GWTW, but I wouldn't necessarily say if someone said that those movies weren't that entertaining to them that they were way out of line, either.

Personally, I don't like Scarface nearly as much as most people...I think it's kind of overrated actually.

and I don't really think Citizen Kane or The Godfather are in my own personal top 25 or whatever but I think it's hard to deny that both of those films, from a pure film-making standpoint, are exceptional and super innovative. I think if ANYONE were to say they're 1/10 star films is a total idiot. LOL thanks for listening though! and I'm glad you liked the "5 word reviews"...cuz I did too!
