The top 3 for March 18th, 2009

Happy St. Patrick day!  Did you wear green?  I forgot and somehow didn't get raped with pinches.  Here's the top 3 books I'm most excited about for Wednesday, March 18th, 2009.

Bad Dog #2
Story by Joe Kelly
Art by Diego Greco

I sort of dug the first issue of this new series from Joe Kelly about an alcoholic-werewolf-bounty hunter and his midget sidekick.  Sound a little bizarre?  It is.  Lots of foul language and drunk behavior.  Check this out if you're up for something a little bit different.

Wolverine #71
Written by Mark Millar
Pencils by Steve McNiven

It's late again and I couldn't care less.  Artist, Steve McNiven, can take as much time on every single page of this book as he likes because the last issue was GORGEOUS.  Seeing McNiven draw an alternate X-Men history where Wolverine destroys every last one of the X-Men was the very definition of epic.  I'm just waiting for the inevitable berserker rage that will be coming in the next issues.

Dark Avengers #3
Written by Brian Michael Bendis
Pencils by Mike Deodato

I'm still not totally sold on this book.  I think there's way too many Avengers books at Marvel right  now and it's a little hard for me to care about any of them.  Dark Avengers falls somewhere in the middle of my caring radar.  It's not quite important as New Avengers but much higher than Mighty Avengers.  Confused at all?  This book has been interesting but I'm still getting tired of Bendis behind the entire Marvel universe.  I need some fresh air!

One more day true believers.
