Andy Richter will be the announcer of The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien.  

Fuck yes!  I never understood why Andy Richter wasn't on every single episode of Conan.  I know he went off and tried to have his own television career but I always felt that he and Conan were best when they were together.  I'm ready for late night to get a little shaken up - but after all is done - I am still convinced that it will prove Letterman, all the better.  I'm trying my best to have an open mind as Jimmy Fallon takes the stage on Monday, March 2nd, 2009.  He's booked one of my favorite podcasts ever, Diggnation, to be guests on the show in it's second week which is a strange pick so early on.  And please don't forget about Craig Ferguson, who I think is far more interesting than Conan, and what a great show he's been doing.  The fact he's a European American talk show host is such a different sensibility and tone that hasn't been seen in a late night talk show host.  It's a great time to love late night, isn't it?
