Stiller directing Chicago 7?

Last I heard Spielberg was going to direct this but according to the Hollywood reporter Ben Stiller is in talks to produce the Aaron Sorkin written movie about the 1968 democratic national convention riots. When I first heard Spielberg was going to direct it I wasn't really sure how good it would turn out. Spielberg can do lighter movies well (Catch Me If You Can) but he can also make them terribly boring (the Terminal). Stiller seems like a weird choice at first but I'd be very interested to see what he can do with a movie like this. Sorkin's scripts are always a little too witty for their own good and I think the two of them might balance each other because Ben wouldn't try to force the jokes too much.

Another thing I noticed while investigating this is that Spielberg is planning on filming a movie called Lincoln starring Liam Neeson as Lincoln. I don't know if I'm more excited for this or for the Martin Scorsese directed Teddy Roosevelt biopic starring Dicaprio.

I'm still confused if this one is going to be a biopic or a biography. The other day on PBS there was an independent biography about the 68 convention, I don't remember the name but it used really interesting cgi with exaggerated shading for the courtroom and demonstration scenes.
