Desert Island

So here it is ladies.  My top 5 desert island movies.

ANNIE HALL. I don't believe in having one favorite movie but when someone asks me the question my answer is always the same.  ANNIE HALL is everything completely great about Woody Allen and it's also the best romantic comedy ever made.  It's a classic.

LA STRADA.  I love all the pre 8 1/2 Fellini films.  Giulietta Masina was fantastic and perfect.

SHAUN OF THE DEAD.  This movie makes the list if for no other reason it's more bang for your buck.  Totally classic Simon Pegg and Nick Frost comedy and half badass zombie flick.  One of the funniest movies ever made in my book.

ZODIAC.  Some people don't like ZODIAC that much.  I'm not one of those people.  If I pop my director's cut into the DVD player my day is gone.  I can't do anything in the world but sit completely enthralled by this film.  Classic David Fincher.

GRANDMA'S BOY.  If these are movies I'm going to be watching over and over for the rest of my life I should probably pick a movie I know I can watch over and over no problem.  GRANDMA'S BOY may be one of the most immature and dumb movies ever made but it's also one of the funniest.  Nick Swardson really gets a chance to show just how funny he is.  A younger and rounder Jonah Hill is also great in this movie.  Joel Moore as JP the head game developer who believes he is part robot is absolutely classic in the silliest way possible.

Anyone else want to weigh in?

So say we all.
